@MISTCAST:

For the record, whenever you flag it's for last place among the living players. If a player in 2nd flags for 5th, they get a lot fewer points than if they finished 2nd. So in a real sense, points ARE returned to the pot.

You can see this in action by comparing your surrender score (by the flag checkbox) to your active score (in your player box).

I don't understand why elo is so complicated to people, I think its simple myself. If you dont like an intellectual scoring system, maybe you shouldn't be playing an intellectual game.

Not to mention, the new scoring IS basically the same as ELO, the only difference now is your rank is your "rank from rating".
