For the love of God can we have a system that is 1st place is 1 point and rank is points divided by games played.

Sick to death of people playing for 2nd, trucing for 2nd and the game having no real strategy other than 1. make an ally 2. wuss out and take 2nd/3rd/4th place to screw others out of having a chance.

1) in your proposed system you could play one game and win one game and be #1. Or you could have a lucky streak for your first 10 games and be very high. The question would be where do you draw the line to want is thought of as enough games. 2) If first place is all that mattered people would have nothing to strive for. As soon as you realize you can't be 1st then you'd give up. Games would be very boring. 3) There would be gang up on the leader games where three people would trade who is leading endlessly. |
