Is there a maximum ELO gap that would cause someone to lose points even if they won? Kind of like the huge ELO gap for phoenixes that get points for 7th?

at 2:34 AM, Tuesday July 24, 2007 EDT You can't lose points for winning, but at some point your gain from winning will be less than one point and so will appear to be +0 (I'm not sure if Ryan keeps ratings in decimal or rounds it or what).
Of course, you might lose points on dominance still... |
