It's not a hard algorithm. Make a new bloody for each new game. I'm tired of having only three map options.

at 1:06 PM, Sunday July 22, 2007 EDT There's no need for the maps to be the same over and over. Yes, you can play on lower maps, but there's absolutely no reason a new map can't be created for each game. The algorithm isn't that hard... it does NOT require a reset.

And I suspect that if it was comply random you would end up with people complaining about maps that were much better for other players. But yes I agree that it would be nice to play some different maps. Even if it was just a random selection from a larger list of pre made maps. Btw, Ryan is there any chance that you will get time to fix it so that I can view my profile :) |

at 9:49 PM, Sunday July 22, 2007 EDT Yeah, maps can be generated fairly easily. I want to make this more customizable in the future. The reason for keeping the same map per table is for the benifit of "knowing" a map, which has some value. But I can see it may get repetitive over a month. I had planed initially on just resetting every week.
This is something I'm going to look at in the future. At this point my plans are for people to be able to own maps through stars. So you could own a map and have control over generating it. |

Scratch tickets will now fuel my kdice donations. |
