To Flag or not to Flag thats the question.

Now here i am again.
Let's refine things.
1st Flagfest for making people lead score or elo arent nice but dont harm other peoples games for real
2nd not being able to flag in any given round alters game dynamics relative to what we had before. (Now dont get me wrong here i dont say if thats a good or bad thing.)
3rd Most games i see are done by round 5-10
hence i get reminded of that awful flag thing almost every single game.

4th dom rating gets altered by it.
Now thats one thing to talk about.
Personally i get a lot of low places.
Still my elo looks fine guess what?
Yes i can roughly estimate my dom outcome and play for positive score gain. It's actually not that hard.

So My option on flag is:
either abolish them completely who wants to leave the game may attack himself out and hope for mercy on his dom.
or
let everyone flag whenever he feels like using it. Personally i couldn't care less about what "cabal" did last month since it didnt affect the games i played and had much fun in in any way.

I don't feel like reading your posting, it's too long. But I will say this ... you pretty much wrote the book on not flagging, unflagging, and ninja'ing. Accept your position. Losing once in a while isn't going to kill you if you're a good player.

I did read the post.
I think it is a pretty good summary and I can absolutely agree with the points 1-4. The long and intensively discussed cabal-thingy doesn't bother me at all unless the teamplay on a table I am on.
Flagging only in round 11 is too late, often about all players just hang around for 3-5 rounds. But I guess we all know, that sitting out you get autoflagged after 3 round - and you speed up rounds. So there is some sort of a workaround if the 10 stands the test of time.
