Pardon if this has already been covered - fairly new to the forums, but the missing limits make it difficult to traverse the gap between 1500 and 1800 as the upside/downside gets unbalanced as one approaches the upside of the gap (say, 1750ish). That is, the cost for losing outweighs the gains for winning with a distribution of players in the gap (1500-1799).

at 10:11 PM, Tuesday June 19, 2007 EDT This has been covered in about 100 times and as you reach the top of the teir in anything the losses far outweigh the wins. It happens when a 1980 sits with an 1800 or when a 2300 sits with a 2020 person. Its the way the game is set up and you'll never get away from it.
Best bet is to PGA your way to the top. PGA is always the answer! |

It appears Ryan wants to keep it like this. Who knows why? |

don't like being down there? work your way up. not everybody can be a doctor or lawyer; the world needs cashiers and gas station attendants too. honestly - how accomplished would you feel in making it to the 2000s when all you had to do was take tiny little steps up the ladder? |
