Not getting additional dice?

Apologies if double-posted: browser hiccup.
I was recently playing a game where I ended up with only a couple of isolated territories, each with only a few dice. Not a winning position :( So as to make the game move faster, I flagged and stood up. And after others had captured some of my zones, and I was down to one location, I was expecting the dice stack to grow by 1 at the end of each round. It didn't. Sitting back in, and then clicking on the 'end turn' button, I managed to get my remaining stack to increase. So what's the scoop? Is it supposed to grow only if you're actively sitting in, or is this a glitch? |

This is to try and let people playing the game get higher position than players who have left. So before 3 rounds if you sit in you will get your dice
