position (or placement):

7th: -15 3rd: +5
6th: -10 4th: 0 2nd: +10
5th: -5 1st: +15

these points are multiplied with an faktor x, depending on your ELO comparised to the other Players on the table. So with a high ELO you will have perhaps only 11 or 12 points for 1st, while 2nd place with a very low ELO get 13 points the same time...

Dominance Score: depends on your average number of owned countries to begin of your round (not the end!!! so it´s more important to defend your territory then to conquer a big one, you can´t hold...) The first three rounds don´t count for ELO.

But often I wonder also about DOM-points. They are often to high or to small then the expected... Perhaps it depends also on your ELO. But I don´t know this, and ryan didn´t respond to my questions about this...
( I phoenixed some weeks ago, and there I wondered very often about Dominance points!! I didn´t managed to get negative ELO of more then -5 or so when I had an ELO under 1300, also when I managed to rest a lot of rounds with only a single territory)
