1700 tables

Now that the 1700 tables have become 1800 tables, doesn't that just shift the problem?

First people were complaining that the gap between 1700 and 2000 was too big. Now it seems that the gap from 1500 to 1800 is pretty steep.

hey Haploid... the gaps are defined by the best 250/1000 player... so it´s a simple mathematical function, where you cut the tables.

And not to make it easier to bridge a gap!

I feel kinda stuck in the middle now. I'm in the top range of the 1500+ players, but not top range enough to quite make it to the 1800 tables. Usually danced in and out of 1700+ range, when they were still 1700 tables.

I wish the gaps were smaller.

for some days they will switch often... take your chance and play 1700 if possible!

make a 2nd account for the times there aren´t 1700-tables!

I'm a one-account kinda guy. :)

1000+ other people aren't!

The multiple accounts thing is one reason why, IMHO, we need to change the algorithm for table limits. There needs to be some sort of "activity" included in it. Otherwise what will rnd do when all top 250 are him?

How active should the top 250 player tables be? How active are they now?

JKD: I don't know and right now I'm wallowing in the 1500 (1700 when they're around) tables anyway. I'm just saying that while the 250/1000 thing is a good idea, it is predicated on there actually being 250/1000 separate players. When lots of people have multiple accounts it changes those dynamics...

Now I don't know whether in reality it is a problem, but it isn't as simple as just saying that its an algorithm and people should suck it up.

I wish ryan would just delete all but the unrated tables! That would be awesome!
