Hey to all you insane and crank and addicted players in kdice-world who wanna experienced a new adventure...
End of January - before the reset of all accounts - I started here in this forum the first PHOENIX-contest! ANnd I saw, that the idea isn´t dead... Insane... on the ideas-page some players wanted Ryan himself to explain this PHEONIX-thing... So the idea: The legend of the bird PHOENIX is well known... it´s about this bird who burned and rises up out of his own ashes... look into wikipedia if you don´t know this legend! Devolved to kdice the idea was to crash down your ELO-Rating... probably as low as you might. Some of us get it down to 800, but it´s quite enough to rise down under 1000 points. If you reached this, make a break of one day, to fix your graph at this point and post your stats to this thread... Next day you should start to rise again - as fast and as high as possible! at 10:14 AM, Tuesday March 20, 2007 EDT I did this before the last scoring re-set and it was a lot of fun, the crash to 800 and the rise back to 1700+ was a lot of fun. I may give it another run...see how low I can get before April 1st and then see how long it takees to get back up with the new scoring system.
