With how much the rather idiotic minority is riled up over my actions the last week or so I am pretty sure I am doing something right.

are you positive was he joking ? perhaps he really was suggesting that "in his opinion" the manner in which "the old days" handled this sort thing did carry some merit, merely voicing his opinion accordingly.

Using derogatory terms like "downy" or "retard" or "fucktard" should not be tolerated given that they offend the mentally handicapped and their loved ones - given this community sees it fit to punish other types of offensive remarks towards minorities it should be only fitting that Sam gets a -chat for a few days or at the very least some sort of reprimand. He is afterall supposed to be an ambassador of the game and as such is supposed to lead by example, making this a doubly serious offense.

We should just ban anyone saying anything that anyone anywhere might not like.

I believe that is the precedent moderators like rowdy, jurgen, bone roller, shevar and thraxle have set.
